On the multiple facets of her personality:
There are certainly two sides to one coin and the essence of that. I started out and in many ways I still am very shy as a person and so I’ve always been girl next door, but I bring my fans sort of on a journey of sexual exploration. And I consider myself a “full-time kinky succubus” because I have very fun fetishes that I’m learning about and exploring with everybody. And also I very much am enjoying the sexual part of myself that I’m discovering.
On kinks and bondage:
Bondage was very unexpected. I had initially gotten into bondage, because I was hesitant about having my first time. And so I figured bondage would have that sense of intimacy without having sex. So really, it’s just fine, isn’t it? And we started with my wrists were tied. And then the rope just slowly started going up my arms. And before I knew it, I was in a full body diamonds tie, which is where your entire body from the chest, all the way down to your toes, is entirely bound. And it felt so amazing. I was not expecting that I would go that far from my first group session. But it was so wonderful.
On masturbation:
I grew up in a partially religious household. And so I was raised to think that masturbation was bad. And I was kind of scared of it. But at some point, when I was in college, I just thought, you know what, I really ought to understand what my body is because I don’t want to be scared of it anymore. And Chaturbate was my mode of exploring that. Chaturbate was what I started with before anything else. So the fans that have been with me, for my first streams, have been with me for my entire journey. It really crazy to me, just to think that I used to not be able to come before. And now it’s like, I’m able to, and it’s because of them and their encouragement.
On the ability to orgasm on command:
I can actually come on command. So I’ve practiced it. And one of the things that you can do is that if you’re into someone, you kind of get the idea of where you’re into it. At the end, you ask, like, if you can come. And by that point, I practiced it so many times that I could just do it without having sex. I just sort of built up to it. It was almost like a meditative state for me sort of building up into it. And now it just it happens whenever I want to.
On the transition to studio porn:
It was right around my cam-iversary, which is the anniversary of my first day of my cam stream, I decided, you know what, I’ve been in it long enough. And I feel like I’m ready to explore what porn is like and what sex is like on camera. I thought that it would be really amazing to sort of find my sexual identity within that and to find that form of expression working with other performers. It was really exciting. I had spent a couple of years working with other cam girls where we would collaborate on streams and make videos. But I felt like I really wanted to understand the production side of the professional industry. And it’s just so amazing to me.
On camming versus studio porn:
When I’m camming, there is like a flow when it comes to a live audience. And you’ve kind of had to find the balance of their desires, in tune with how long you’ve been going, where your tip range is at. And on a porn set, it’s it’s a little bit more structured, because there’s no longer an audience, you’re sort of predicting what they want to see and what they want to feel in the momentum of what’s on set.
On fans who fall in love:
I get a lot of DMs of people asking me to marry them, a lot of marriage proposals. And sometimes I understand, especially as soon as I got into porn, I noticed that several people came out saying, I feel kind of weird that you got into porn, because they realized they have these feelings for you. And it’s going to feel weird seeing you have sex with other guys. And I told them, I’m so sorry that you feel that way. Because this is a part of my sexual journey. And I know that you’ve had such a strong part of it, and you still mean so much to me. And in my heart, I always want to be there with you. But I’m only ever going to support you. And I want to give you the space to be able to grow better, into your future, and into whatever relationships you pursue. And so that’s sort of how I will start with it. And also say, you know, that, in essence, their intentions are extremely sweet and extremely wonderful.
On watching porn:
You know what, now that I’m actually in porn, I watch porn a lot more. I had this internal role before where it was me, my fingers, and my imagination. And so it was usually always just me under my bed, and I’d sort of make a sort of story and I’d touch myself to it. And that was my thing. And now I will watch porn to sort of understand the angles and sometimes I’ll get very heated watching it, but it makes me kind of shy masturbating to my friends. Or to my fellow performers. Sometimes I’ll just think, “Oh, my gosh, she’s so hot. I really want to like do a scene with her and like, have a time where we have like really hot steamy sex like that.” It’s just so different for me to be able to watch porn now with a very fresh perspective on what it’s like. Sometimes I’ll suddenly be masturbating watching the scene, and I’ll think, “Oh, I can see why they cut there.” Or like, “Oh, wow, that’s an interesting transition.”
On learning about porn from a meme:
It was a very dramatic meme, actually. So there’s a meme that was floating around the internet for a very long while. And it was called goatse of just someone spreading their asshole. And it was very common for people to say, like, instead of getting Rickrolled, you would get goatsed. And basically, it would just be a picture of some guys spreading their asshole, and that was my first experience with pornographic content. It was more like shocker material, like “Oh, my gosh!” And when I actually started looking for pornographic things, I definitely found myself in hentai first. I loved hentai mangas that I would read, and it was just a very interesting being able to try and imitate the little head girl faces of the girls, like sticking out their tongues with their eyes crossed out in orgasmic pleasure. It was it didn’t really give me a very realistic aspect of what porn was or what sex was. But it was definitely something that sort of aroused me in a way that I hadn’t expected. And so that was that was my foray into sexuality at first.
On hentai:
But because I saw hentai anime so much when I was [younger], when I was going through that, I just thought, “Oh, everyone moans like this!” Or everyone obviously illustrates what’s going on as they’re having sex. That actually turned out to do really well in camming and in porn. And people would ask me like, “Do you actually just do that in bed?” I’m like, “Yeah, that’s what everyone does. Right?” Everyone automatically says like, “Oh, I feel this in this way.” And it is not actually what happens. I was very misinformed about how people moan. People thought that I had fake moans because I learned how to moan from hentai. [Laughs]

On your Twitter profile bio currently, you have an interesting combination of girl next door and kinky. I think the first line is “It’s nice to meet you.” That’s pleasant girl next door! And then the second part is “full-time kinky succubus.” So I wondered if you could talk about those two sides of your persona, if you see them as two sides of your persona.
Leana Lovings
There are certainly two sides to one coin and the essence of that. So what are some fetishes that you’ve discovered about yourself as you’ve delved into this wonderful world of camming and porn?
Leana
So some of the weirdest fetishes I think I have is hypnosis. And another one is kind of normal is bondage. Bondage is very fun. And the two of them together make for a very interesting combination of things. I have learned all sorts of games that you can play with candle wax, where you can put cookie cutters on your skin and drip the candle wax into the cookie cutters. That’s a lot of fun. All my other fetishes I think are pretty normal though.
Dallas
So cookie cutter — what’s what’s the most is strange or eccentric cookie cutter that you’ve used to that that purpose? Any interesting shapes?
Leana
Christmas ornaments because you can use little Christmas ornament cookie cutters. So you like interlace the wax with different colors. It looks very cute when it solidifies on you. It’s like a little piece of art.
Dallas
Right, and I think like the classic sort of Christmas tree would look a little bit like a butt plug, you know, the shape of it. So there could be an extra sexual dimension there.
Leana
Yeah! [Laughs] It’s so much fun.

Were there any of these fetishes that you were surprised that you got into? That you didn’t expect would be so compelling to you but then they were?
Leana

Experimenting with camming and masturbation

Now you started in camming, as I understand it, right?
Leana
Yes, I did. My first stream, I started out just in a pair of overalls and I was hugging a teddy bear. And I was so worried about just sort of what the stream would turn into. It was so interesting just to meet all these different people that were very interested in certain aspects of sexuality. So that’s actually how I got myself to really get into masturbating. And really enjoying it it. It was just so arousing to me to see all of these people in my stream just getting off to me touching myself and stripping. It was a very unique experience. And I think now that you mentioned it, exhibitionism was definitely something that I wasn’t immediately expecting would get me off just so much.

So you weren’t that much into masturbation before you started camming?
Leana

Moving from camming into studio porn
Dallas
So at what point did you know that you wanted to make that pivot?
Leana

So what is the biggest difference or most surprising difference that you’ve seen between the cam content and shooting a more conventional porn scene?
Leana
Oh, that is a very interesting question! So when I’m camming, there is like a flow when it comes to a live audience. And you’ve kind of had to find the balance of their desires, in tune with how long you’ve been going, where your tip range is at. And on a porn set, it’s it’s a little bit more structured, because there’s no longer an audience, you’re sort of predicting what they want to see and what they want to feel in the momentum of what’s on set. And you have certain positions that you might want to get covered depending on the director and their preferences. And what website you’re shooting for to the audience is just so important to still consider. But it’s really more anticipating than anything. And I love the fact that I can sort of maintain contact with an active partner. Usually there’s more communication with my fans in the chat room asking what they like. And here, it’s just like, this is what I want my body to do right now, and I can go fully into the moment and just give everyone something that they would really enjoy.
Dallas
In some sense then is it almost like some mainstream actors say about performing in theater versus performing in a movie? Where in theater you get that instant feedback from the audience, you can kind of feel their vibe. Whereas you go onto a movie and it’s a completely different thing, there’s no audience there. It’s sliced and diced a little bit.
Leana
Yeah, you find out afterwards. That’s really what it’s like. And it’s so surprising to see, you know, the videos that they liked the most.I love being able to watch what video comes out on top over the other ones that I’ve been a part of. It’s so engaging just to see what works.
First scene
Dallas
Right, and to your point, actually in the computer screen here in the background, I have Adult Empire’s bestselling current porn videos [interview recorded in April 2022] and the one that is at the very top is one that you’re in. And it’s kind of interesting! And I wonder if you remember this particular scene or what you could tell us about. It’s a scene you did for My Pervy Family called But I Have a Girlfriend Now. Does that ring a bell with you?
Leana
Yes, it is one of the scenes that I would never forget. Particularly because it was actually my very first ever scene. I had gone into it, and they said, “Are you good with improv?” [Laughs] And I said, “You know what, I can try my best.” And this video is what came out of it. It is so surprising to me that it worked out so well. It was definitely a role that I was so excited to try out because I thought, “Oh, you know, I’m going to be this bratty sassy stepsister. Okay, I can do this. I can get into the role. I’m going to try it. And it was just so much fun. I know, I worked with Johnny, the kid at the time. He was a great performer alongside me. We had so much fun, just like working out the positions. The director was so informative. He’s like, this is what I want you to do. And they both really guided me in such as knowing where to go, and how to position myself for their camera. I’m so grateful for their help on that. Because, honestly, given it was my first time, I don’t know what else I would have done.
Dallas
Wow! You mentioned the improvisational aspects. Was that easy to slip in to? So I assume you’re talking about the dialogue as well — was that all improvised?
Leana
Yes, all of the dialogue was improvised, except they would kind of give me a guide, as in like, “Okay, you’re going to walk into the bathroom on this set. He’s gonna be like trying to, he’s gonna have pulled his dick out to pee, and you’re going to interrupt him. And you’re going to try and tease him and get him to try to jerk off.” And that was all I had. So I had to kind of come up with what to say and how I was going to tease him into it and joke about I think his girlfriend and stuff like that. It was just so much of an exciting challenge, I think.
Studio content vs. camming
Dallas
So when you’re transitioning from camming to studio content like that, how exactly does that work? Did they recruit you? Did you have to go to an agent? How did that all come about?
Leana
A very interesting overlap in terms of cam and the adult industry in that the AVNs and Exxxotica and XBIZ also invite cam girls to their conventions. I had gone to the 2020 AVN conference, and I was there in the front in the Chaturbate booths. And at that time after my stream, I had gone around and I saw that there were agents that were there at the booths, a little further ways down in a separate room. And I got kind of curious and I thought about it. And I met one of the agents there. Who was Brian [Berke] at AMA down in Florida. And that was sort of where I got my bearings. I told him that I would consider it and I would think about it. And here I am now. I had decided about a year and a half later, I suppose, that that was going to be the moment that I was going to go into porn. I thought about it very deliberately.
Dallas
Have you ever done the thought experiment of thinking what it would have been like if you had shot studio content first, and how that might have shaped your career in a different way. Or maybe you wouldn’t even have ended up in this career. Do you ever think about that?
Leana
You know what camming very much helped me with my self-esteem. I don’t think I would have been able to go into the industry had I not gone into camming. And camming gave me so much more experience. I suddenly had a more business-minded edge, because I’d been sort of running my own business in terms of camming and OnlyFans and all of my other operations. And I got a voice for the fans in my own particular niche and what I already knew those fans like, and so I could immediately start advertising towards there and working towards those things, and I knew a little bit of what to say. Without that experience, I would have been so different starting out, because I really would have been starting out with absolutely nothing in the industry.
Interacting with fans / emotional support / teddy bear prop?
Dallas
Right, so when you talk about interacting with fans, I think people have a lot of preconceived notions about what the interactions between cam stars or pornstars and fans are. But I’ve found that there are there is a “heartwarming” side to the interactions between stars and their fans and that sometimes there can be something very, very touching where they helped them out at a moment that they were having a tough spot in their life or things like that. Does anything come to mind in that regard when you think about your fans any anecdotes?
Leana
Yes, you know what — I have a fan, he is my longest-standing fan, his name is Vinyl. And he has been my moderator in my Chaturbate room for a while. Right about when I started, and because of that, you know, I’ve sort of been able to be with him and I’m there for my fans when they have hard moments, just as much as they’re there for me. And everyone has moments of vulnerability where sometimes it requires a little bit of therapy along with that intimacy, and sometimes that intimacy is the answer. Sometimes it’s just having a phone call and being able to talk with them.
I’ve had a person who requested a private session just to spend an hour talking with me about his sexual identity, asking me if it was okay to be gay. And so we had a very long conversation about why he felt it was wrong to be gay, if he should start making the move to to be more open about it in his life. And you would never expect that people want those kinds of private sessions to be able to open up about their vulnerabilities, but it helps so much. And I think it’s because in part I’m the stranger that presents this very open-minded, open-listening experience, as do many of the other cam girls out there.
Dallas
Right, because I think there’s this perception somehow that everything related to porn is kind of frivolous or silly or it’s all just about, you know, masturbation, or something like that. But when you get to the core of it, these issues of identity and sexuality are really life and death issues in some basic sense. And I think people forget that sometimes.
Leana
Yeah, it’s very serious. And you know what I do like adding kind of just a very strong caring side to some of my streams because of that. I actually have a tip menu option where I have a stuffed animal and I just give it hugs, and I say into the microphone that they’re loved and I’m giving them all of my love and I’m there with them through everything that they need me to be. And I have good morning videos and good night videos for people who just want to be able to hear someone say that and it’s very popular.
Dallas
You mentioned that in that very first cam show you were holding a teddy bear or some sort of stuffed animal. Was that just for your own comfort in that particular moment? Or was that partially a sort of prop to suggest a certain persona, or was it both?
Leana
I think that it was a little bit of both. I figured it would kind of be sexy to see a girl sitting on a bed holding a teddy bear. And also I might need this for emotional support. Going into the beginning that’s definitely what it was like. Just because I was so shy and so anxious and everyone immediately started making me feel at ease. But then the teddy bear thing became a thing. And now I also have a tipping thing where I ride on my stuffies, like face sitting and stuff like that. And this is just became a part of my my persona.

Do fans ever fall in love?
Dallas
Right, a trademark, in a sense. Speaking of interactions with fans and things of that order, I was looking at your interview I think it is with — let me see if I can get the name of it right — the And Now We Drink podcast or video interview. Which is a very good interview, incidentally. I recommend that people find that one on their favorite podcast platform or YouTube. But I was glancing at the comments. The highest rated comment was from a particular gentleman — or it might have been a lady! I don’t know — he said the “more I learn about this girl, the more I realize she is literally my dream girlfriend.” So my question relating to that is, do you ever worry in a way about being so successful that your fans actually fall in love with you? And begin to imagine a sort of future with you that’s not necessarily practical? And is there any way that you guard against that?
Leana
Okay, yes, so I’ve had that several times. I get a lot of DMs of people asking me to marry them, a lot of marriage proposals. But in general, my persona, as much as I am everyone’s girlfriend in a way, I also keep myself excluded from other relationships. So I’ll say that I wouldn’t be too shy to meet in person, which is also very true, or that I’m just not ready for relationships, and I would have to decline. And so I just tried to maintain to the truth of who I am in declining their offers. I know that sometimes it can be difficult differing the image of fantasy and reality. But I like to maintain that — that fantasy is still always there. It’s still something that they can dream about and feel. I’m always going to be on the other side of a computer screen. It’s just there’s always going to have to be that separation in an idea.
The future of sexuality / long-distance relationships
Dallas
Do you think that perhaps the the future of human sexuality, just given the way the world is trending, particularly in the wake of COVID-19 and social distancing — do you think one day that most of our sexual interactions will be at a remove and will be mediated by some sort of digital format? Basically, I’m just asking whether you think we’ll slowly slowly move away from actual physical sexual relationships to a realm where it’s [almost] all cam stuff. It’s all just us in our houses kind of like we were during the pandemic. Do you think that that’s a possibility? Do you think there’s a future like that?
Leana
You know what, this is a very interesting question and one that I actually happen to be very prepared for. Because out of experience, I can say all of my relationships had been long-distance relationships up to now. And it is something that I can say with certainty that online relationships and purely online sex is not something that would, I think, would be completely achievable. Because we’re always going to have this desire for physical connection. We’re always going to want to touch and feel the person in front of us because online perpetuates this idea of distance. As close as we are, from one screen to another, it looks like we’re sitting right in front of each other. We’re not sharing the same air. We’re not making actual eye contact. There are simple gestures that we can’t feel in front of each other. And that is something that is always going to be noticeable even in a VR setting. We’re always going to be aware that we are not physically there with that other person.
Dallas
Right, and I think that topic came up with the interview I was talking about, the And Now We Drink podcast. And as I recall, the host of that particular interview said that he didn’t really think that long-distance relationships could work unless someone is eventually planning to move to be with that other person in person. Which kind of squares with what you’re saying there that eventually that tactile aspect is something that completes and fulfills people in a way that they otherwise couldn’t really get.
Leana
Well, there is another point where I had still been very happy in those relationships. It doesn’t always have to require moving in to see each other. One of the other aspects of it is that if you’re in a polyamorous relationship, you can still experience those physical aspects and maintain a relationship with that other person. There’s so many dynamics to consider. And at the end of the day, there are things that you can still use to maintain a sort of relationship, even if you aren’t able to be there physically with each other.
The technical side of porn: lighting
Dallas
You mentioned earlier that one of the things you’re interested in delving into was the the technical side of pornography and the filmmaking side. What’s one of the lesser-known challenges technical challenges of being a cam performer, or even just shooting a conventional porn movie?
Leana
Oh, there is one thing that I know is shared between both of them. And that is lighting. One of the technical difficulties that no one expects, lighting is math. And you have to continually position your body in accordance with the lights and make it the most flattering position possible. And it’s a sort of math that you are continually calculating in your mind, with your body in position to the camera and the light in conjunction with one another. And in camming, it can be difficult because there’s usually a fixed camera on a tripod, where you are continually changing distances and there is not a crew and the lighting has to stay the same. And you have to be able to still make all of that very flattering, no matter how often you’re moving about the room. And sort of you get used to it, you can set the room up in a certain way, where it becomes very normal for you to have it ,but on onset, it becomes a little bit different because you’re not the one that setting up the lights. So you have to sort of figure out your positioning in the room without having that visual feedback. And you sort of have to trust the director and you have to trust your crew.
A future in directing?
Dallas
Given all that you’ve learned about the technical side of things, could you see yourself at one point turning to outright directing in the style of some of the famous directors in the industry, be it Mason or Jacky St James or whomever?
Leana
Yes, absolutely, I think that I would very much like to pursue directing in the future. I think that it’s still a while away, because I still have so much to learn. Every time my mindset I’m just so fascinated by everyone’s unique methods for filming and directing. And it’s just so engaging. I realized just how much I don’t know, and how much I still have to learn when I see everyone. It’s just so intriguing.
Genres she’d like to try
Dallas
What’s a genre or a type of scene that you’re really eager to shoot and to learn about and to delve into that you haven’t been able to yet?
Leana
There’s so many. It just feels like everything is unexpected. It feels a little bit like Halloween, because you can just be someone in every single scene. And I feel like every single one of them is a new discovery with a new performer with a new set different angles, different storyline. To be honest, if I think about like any scenes that I would want — I don’t know. I mean, it’s just so hard to think about really what I want when it comes to– I like making videos that please other people. It just makes me happy to make what everyone else wants.
Fan expectations
Dallas
When you talk about it kind of being like Halloween with the different personas that you can embody — do you ever find that people expect you to be the persona that you’ve kind of developed? You talked about the teddy bear stuff and things like that. And [maybe] you kind of want to expand and move on beyond that, but what they want is something that’s a little bit more where you were two or three years ago. Does that ever happen?
Leana
Yeah, part of it is definitely because I really zeroed in on that niche. I’m very experienced in what to say. And in other personas, it’s just kind of like I would really love to be able to expand my abilities in acting and performing because I really want to show that I have range, and it would be just so exciting to have more of that as an opportunity.
Books and Carl Jung

So what are some books that you’ve read lately? If you have the time lately to read! I don’t know. You seem very busy, of course, with your career.
Leana
I have not actually been able to read as many books as I would like. It’s it’s made me quite sad. Particularly because one of my favorite types of novels is fantasy novels. I love just sort of being absorbed into my own personal library. I had been reading some of Carl Jung’s books. And one of my favorites from him is the Red Book. The Red Book by Carl Jung is a book where he began to sort of write about his dreams and his process for his own kind of psychological awakening. And it is a book that is very rarely recognized in its discovery, because he mentions a lot of spiritual self-awareness and meditations and his concepts on pre-cognition. And it was just so controversial that they waited a very long time to be able to properly release it. I still absolutely recommend it. It’s very interesting. It depends on the copy that you get. But some copies of Carl Jung’s Red Book will actually have illustrations of his dreams. Many people don’t know that Carl Jung actually was a very skilled painter and illustrator for his own means, of course, but they’re very beautiful.

He was a very complicated and an interesting person from what I know about him, which is not a lot, I must admit! [Laughs]
Leana
Yes, philosopher/psychologist, extremely skilled.

Here’s an off-the-wall question: do you think his life could be spun into an interesting porn spoof?
Leana
Oh, my gosh. I don’t know about that! [Laughs]

I mean, you’d have to cast somebody who probably didn’t look like him to make it palatable for mainstream audiences. Not to not to disparage the man, but . . .
Leana
There you go! Yes, it would be that would be far more I think appealing. I mean, oh, my goodness. He is certainly a man that was lost in thought, if anything. And because of that, I think you can have a couple of interesting sets around him, I think.

Definitely, so is it true that you would love to one day do a nun porn scene? I think I heard you say that once.
Leana
Yes, so I guess I hadn’t mentioned that when you were asking me about scenes that I would like to do before, but yes, I would be very curious about doing a non porn scene, particularly because I kind of like the sacrilegious nature of it. Having been in a Christian setting in the past, it’s so interesting to me. The idea of just kind of the image of prayer and sexuality is so amusing to me. I think it would be amazing and especially a lesbian nun porn scene, to be honest, just two nuns really going at it or three or four. You know, I would like to add some diversity to that set. So it sounds like from what you’re saying that they should put you on speed dial and get you in that cast for the next edition if they do that. Do you yourself watch much porn even just for fun or to just see what other pornstars are up to or what else is going on in the industry?
Watching porn for fun?
Leana
You know what, now that I’m actually in porn, I watch porn a lot more. I had this internal role before where it was me, my fingers, and my imagination. And so it was usually always just me under my bed, and I’d sort of make a sort of story and I’d touch myself to it. And that was my thing. And now I will watch porn to sort of understand the angles and sometimes I’ll get very heated watching it, but it makes me kind of shy masturbating to my friends. Or to my fellow performers. Sometimes I’ll just think, “Oh, my gosh, she’s so hot. I really want to like do a scene with her and like, have a time where we have like really hot steamy sex like that.” It’s just so different for me to be able to watch porn now with a very fresh perspective on what it’s like. Sometimes I’ll suddenly be masturbating watching the scene, and I’ll think, “Oh, I can see why they cut there.” Or like, “Oh, wow, that’s an interesting transition.”

I definitely have a lot of sexy ideas that I think could be turned into movies. I keep those locked away in my secret vault of ideas. And let’s see — my personal ideas when it comes to just fetish, it’s very rarely gentle. Because I like consensual non-consent in my personal fantasies. So I like the idea of saying no at first and then suddenly sliding into okay, yes, actually, I really like it, please. And I love the idea of beginning reluctance into transforming into someone that’s just absolutely into it and just begging for it by the end. So those are my personal fantasies. And I also like the idea of being bound up under that person’s desires so that they can deal with me as they please. Those ideas are very sensual and exciting to me. It’s never been about pleasing myself. I realized that I get the most sexual excitement from the idea of pleasing others.

Exactly. So a lot of porn stars have a hidden or not so hidden nerdy side. What’s something that you would totally nerd out over?
Leana
Oh, my goodness. League of Legends is one of them. I felt hesitant in saying that because as much as I am a serious gamer, I know that some people consider League of Legends to be cringe. Because there is a lot of toxicity within the community. The players are very aggressive. But I find it so much fun. Most people would not be surprised if I say that I am a support main.
So I do support DPS and Mid Lane. League of Legends has a variety of lanes that your character can find in a five player team. So there’s top lane, there’s mid lane, there’s ADC and support. And the bottom lane has two people. And then there’s the jungle player who sort of interacts with different things in between the lanes to sort of gain enough ability to group up with everyone else and overpower the enemy team. And I could nerd on that for hours. I also love Skyrim. I’m actually so much of a Skyrim nerd that I have personally modded my Skyrim game and I have had over 500 mods. I spent several hours making sure that my poor mods were successful in making sure that everything didn’t have any conflict. When I like a game, I go very much into all of the technical aspects of it just to make sure that I get the maximal experience that I can.

Have you always been tuned into gaming?
Leana
Yes, because I was raised sort of on a farm without the ability to communicate to anyone. I only had the internet to really connect with. And when it came to that, it was sort of like I found myself online role playing at first, I thought that writing stories online with a bunch of people was just really cool. And so I got into it, it’s sort of like group story writing is what role playing is in forums. And let’s see, that was on a, it was on Gaia Online, oh, my gosh, I was so young. And then I just got into games from the other people that I met there. And I started out like with games like Guild Wars, two League of Legends was very popular. It was just so funny to me, that I could just go on. And I actually played for about two years using a trackpad, which is like the the pad that’s just sitting on the laptop instead of like a mouse. People, when they found that out, were absolutely astonished. Because anyone that knows will say, how can you play on this tiny little thing where you’re just dragging your finger around on the screen? Usually, you need a lot more control, to just be able to do that. And it’s just because I didn’t have anything else. I was just so dedicated to playing games early on that that’s where I started.

it’s almost a parallel with someone who only has like one porn magazine to look at. So that’s what they look at. It’s just that’s what they have or they have the Victoria’s Secret catalog or something.
Leana
Exactly. I used what I had. And in that instance, that’s all it was. But when I discovered gaming, it was like this whole other world where I could just sort of meet people and play games with them. And I was suddenly connected with all these people with similar interests as me. And it just opened up an entirely new set of communities that I could engage in.
Dallas
Do you think that experience sets you up in a way for the camming by providing a similar kind of community experience that would then be sort of replicated by the camping thing?
Leana
Yes, absolutely. I mean, especially, in my essence, with having only online relationships, I feel like it prepared me to sort of be everyone’s online girlfriend. And the essence that I had done it already long distance for so long. I knew what makes people feel good when you’re far away, and you can’t touch. I love being able to express that experience and to just give all of the love that I have for everybody.
Learning about porn in a meme / hentai

Do you remember the first time you ever saw pornographic materials?
Leana
Hmm, the first time I ever saw pornographic materials, I think it was definitely a meme.

A meme? Interesting!
Leana
Yeah, it was a very dramatic meme actually. So there’s a meme that was floating around the internet for a very long while. And it was called goatse of just someone spreading their asshole. And it was very common for people to say, like, instead of getting Rickrolled, you would get goatsed. And basically, it would just be a picture of some guys spreading their asshole and that was my first experience with pornographic content. It was more like shocker material like “Oh my gosh!” And when I actually started looking for pornographic things, I definitely found myself in hentai first. I loved hentai mangas that I would read and it was just a very interesting being able to try and imitate the little head girl faces of the girls, like sticking out their tongues with their eyes crossed out in orgasmic pleasure. It was it didn’t really give me a very realistic aspect of what porn was or what sex was. But it was it was definitely something that sort of aroused me in a way that I hadn’t expected. And so that was that was my foray into sexuality at first.

Yeah, that’s an interesting starting off point because like you said, if you looked at it as sort of documentary evidence of how sex goes, you would have a really crazy perception of what sex was, given what happens in those movies.
Leana
But because I saw hentai anime so much when I was [younger], when I was going through that, I just thought, “Oh, everyone moans like this!” Or everyone obviously illustrates what’s going on as they’re having sex. That actually turned out to do really well in camming and in porn. And people would ask me like, “Do you actually just do that in bed?” I’m like, “Yeah, that’s what everyone does. Right?” Everyone automatically says like, “Oh, I feel this in this way.” And it is not actually what happens. I was very misinformed about how people moan. People thought that I had fake moans because I learned how to moan from hentai. [Laughs]

So it sounds like all of these experiences in a way were, whether you knew it or not, kind of preparing you for the career that you would ultimately end up in.
Leana
Yes, it seems very surprising that they were all somewhat steps up the ladder to get me to where I am. None of it would have been anticipated. And yet sort of here I am. And everything sort of fits and it works out.
Dallas
Have you ever seen the content from the studio called Hentaied, where they take the the hentai scenarios and they put them into kind of a live-action format with the benefit of CGI and some things like that? Yeah, it’s a very interesting studio. We sell it on Adult Empire VOD. And they have relatively short clips. And they tend to be quite expensive because it’s very niche content. But it’s very interesting. Now, is that the sort of stuff — would you shoot a scene like that? Do you think? Where you were in a hentai scenario that was sort of being brought to life or does that not appeal to you?
Leana
Oh, I have not been I would absolutely love to see that. Oh, my goodness. I have so much to learn about. Yes, yes, absolutely. Because it would be like living through a fantasy you know. I absolutely love hentai. So that’s just something I’m so into.

Adult Empire’s 25th anniversary

Nice, okay, maybe you need to go shoot some content for that studio. I think maybe they’re in based in Europe. I’m not sure, though. That’s something to look into. So another thing I wanted to touch on was that so this year, 2022, Adult Empire is celebrating its 25th anniversary, which is kind of crazy to think. So the site is actually I guess it’s older than you! Is that strange to think that there’s a porn site that’s older than you?
Leana
Porn has been around for so so long, and I feel like its growth is just always very consistently astronomical. Because more and more people at an exponential rate are getting into it. It is just so cool to me. And so I’m so amazed. It’s 25 years. Wow. That’s so cool. I’m actually going to be turning 25 In just a couple of months. Yeah, look at that. What was that?
Dallas
Wow, so Adult Empire and Leana, we’re kind of aligned there in the stars, I think. Do you ever think ahead, say, [to] where would you like to be ideally in 25 years?
Leana
Hard to say. By then, I would probably be taking more of a directing role in porn. I think 25 years from now that would be very realistic. Perhaps I would have like my own crew where we would be filming different scripts. And at that point, I wonder what companies I would be working with or if I would have my own. That would be so interesting to discover. Perhaps a mix of both. I know that I am definitely going to be in porn itself for a very long time as a performer as a director. Both of those avenues are just so interesting to me, and I’m going to be here for a very long time.
Dallas
So by that point, you don’t necessarily want to be the MILF of the day, you’d rather be behind the camera at that point being the director.
Leana
Yes. I mean, if I am enough, I would probably I guess do both. It just depends on how I feel. I am so wind-based at times that I believe, based on that, I wouldn’t be able to immediately predict if I would continue to go in the north direction or not. I think it would be pretty appealing. It just depends on by then what the field is.
